The Fall of PointlessBlog (Alfie Deyes)

Pointlessblog or better known as Alfie Deyes is an internet sensation who is known for his daily vlogs on his PointlessblogVlogs channel and his challenges and tags on his main channel Pointlessblog. Alfie Deyes is currently in a relation ship with the over 10 million subscriber Youtuber Zoella or Zoe Sugg. Around 2016-2017, Alfie Deyes’ vlogs peaked with getting around 2 million views on every daily vlog. Alfie’s vlogs showed himself doing crazy, fun activities like making a waterslide in his backyard and going and doing crazy things around London. Ever since 2018 Alfie Deyes started to not vlog daily and only post a vlog a couple times a week and that is what started the chain of events that caused his channel to die. When he wasn’t posting daily, people started to see how fake his life was based off of reality. Once him and his Zoe Sugg moved into a multimillion dollar mansion and stopped hanging out with many of their old YouTube friends. His fans started to notice that he was living a very different life that most people can’t live. Deyes was also in several sandals over the years, which also caused him to loose a lot of subscribers. Alfie has recently changed all of his social media accounts to Alfie Deyes rather than Pointlessblog, which was the final stab to his channel. He explained in a recently video that he changed his name because Pointlessblog was the old him and now he makes completely different content than he did before. Most of his fans liked the old Alfie Deyes, so if Deyes wants to keep his channel alive then he will have to fine a new audience that enjoys his new style of content.
